As a crucial part of our organization, the WEB FE (Front-End Web) team plays a central role in delivering the technology backbone for our award-winning games and renowned customer service. We are currently in a dynamic phase of development, harnessing the power of frameworks like React and NodeJS. Our focus is on creating mobile-first, responsively designed websites and tools that utilize versioned APIs for essential services such as Payment Processing, real-time in-game offer generation, real-time fraud detection, and serving as an aggregation layer for iCasino data, encompassing Game, promotional, content, configuration, and digital assets data.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineers to support these endeavors through global optimizations and streamlined processes, working with our existing tools and exploring new technologies that increase quality and efficiency.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a seamless and efficient development experience for your team by optimizing workflows and minimizing any bottlenecks they may encounter in their pursuit of continuous delivery.
This position will be employed by one of Bally's Interactive's outsourced services partners for the region and is advertised on their behalf.
And what are we looking for?
- Proven experience in software engineering or similar roles with a strong grasp of software development principles and practices.
- Extensive knowledge of version control systems, including Github or GitLab.
- Hands-on experience with at least one CI/CD tool like GitLab CI/CD, with the ability to create scalable pipelines from scratch.
- Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with configuration management tools, particularly Ansible and Puppet.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation for deployment using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience utilizing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud using Terraform.
- Hands-on experience in delivering projects using React, TypeScript, NodeJS, and Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work within cross-functional teams.
Good to Have
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana etc.)
- Experience with ArgoCD Deployment
- Experience with automation test frameworks like WebDriver IO
- Experience in coaching and mentoring engineers
- Automation experience using Ansible
- Experience using HashiCorp Vault to securely store sensitive data
