Our teams lend a helping hand

-

At Bally’s Interactive, we believe in creating enriching, valuable and rewarding experiences not just for our players, but our employees too, as well as the communities they belong to.

Offering help and giving back wherever and however we can is very close to our hearts. To fully support our employees in contributing to a positive, social change in their communities, we developed a volunteering policy through which employees can take up to 5 days of leave to dedicate to any of their preferred charities or communities, and get paid to do it. Sounds like an all-round win!

Volunteering Days are here to stay!

One of the first groups to really seize the opportunity to give back to their community was our Malta office. The local Corporate Social Responsibility committee there really showed us they understood the assignment by organising multiple opportunities to volunteer throughout the year.

In December, they helped to sort donations at Fondazzjoni Sebħ, an organisation focused on helping children in residential homes.

In October, they organised trips to help 3 different animal rescue organisations, splitting into groups to help cats, dogs, and horses in shelters around the island. They dedicated their time to feeding the animals, cleaning stables, pens, beds, and litter boxes, and giving some much-needed love to their new furry friends.

Throughout the year, our wonderful teams also participated in clean ups on the sea and in Malta’s scenic countryside, as well as hikes and charity drives to mark Pink October, Movember, and more.

Help however you can

Of course, we know that not every event is a team sport, so Bally’s Interactive employees are also free to choose to use their volunteering leave on their own. Whether they want to work as a team, or devote a little one-on-one time to a charity close to their hearts, everyone is free to dedicate their time as they see fit to the charity of their choice.

We are so proud of our employees’ altruistic efforts to make a difference in their communities, and their wonderful teamwork, and we look forward to see how and where they’ll use their Volunteer Days this year!
