Today, we’re spotlighting Corey, our Responsible Gambling Manager for North America, and Ashley, our Manager of Quality Assurance for North America.
Meet Ashley – Our Quality and Training Champion
Ashley is a vital member of our Responsible Gambling team, who brings a unique perspective to her role. For Ashely, the opportunity to help our players really does come first: “One of the most fulfilling experiences was seeing our entire team work together seamlessly to assist a player. It was inspiring to witness how all departments collaborated, showing our commitment to player protection and maintaining high standards in responsible gaming.”
Ashley finds inspiration in the collaborative and supportive culture at Bally’s. “While work and fun might not typically go hand in hand, we bring a lot of fun to the workplace with our team-oriented culture. Knowing that we are making a real difference for our players motivates me to work innovatively and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.”
Ashley’s Advice to Players
Ashley’s key advice is to set limits early on: “Treat spending on gambling like any other form of entertainment. Set a deposit or spend limit from the start. Just as you wouldn’t spend $10,000 on movies or dining out if you don’t have it, don’t do it with gambling. Setting limits can help avoid excessive gambling.”
Bally’s Superheroes of Responsible Gaming – Meet Corey!
Corey, our Responsible Gambling Manager for North America, plays a crucial role in our efforts to ensure a safe gaming environment. When we asked him about the most rewarding moment in his career, he shared an unforgettable experience: “One of the highlights was when our team received accreditation from RG Check. When I saw the message confirming our accreditation, I cheered out loud in the airport atrium. It felt like a year’s worth of hard work was recognized, and then I got to celebrate at Disney World!”
Corey’s passion for his work is fueled by the incredible people he collaborates with. “The dedication and skill of my colleagues make me want to be the best I can be. For instance, my analyst Alyssa has been a crucial part of our team, always stepping up and keeping us on track,” he says.
Corey’s Advice to Players
“What’s my advice to players? It’s straightforward: If you think you’re losing control, use the tools we provide. Gambling should be fun, not stressful. Set limits, take breaks, and reach out if you need help.”
