The NOC Engineer will be joining the existing NOC Team within Bally’s Interactive Service Delivery Group. Whether it's the main stage or behind the scenes, you'll be the high-energy force ensuring non-stop fun and top-notch availability.
This position will be employed by one of Bally's Interactive's outsourced services partners for the region and is advertised on their behalf.
So, what will you be doing?
- Monitoring and supporting both staging and production systems
- Investigating problems, performing root cause analysis, and deriving resolutions.
- Preparing for and taking part in the periodic releases of new software.
- Serving as an escalation point for issues flagged by customer support.
- Work closely with our internal third-line support teams.
- Introducing and implementing innovative ideas and solutions to enhance NOC efficiency
- Bridging the gap between NOC and DevOps teams to increase knowledge and reduce escalations
- Understanding and finding ways to automate tasks within operations
- Acting as a point of contact for developers and providing support for any issues that may arise
- Ensuring documentation is well maintained.
And what are we looking for?
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or any related course
At least two (2) years of experience working in a similar support function
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Good knowledge of system and application management practices
Exposure to technologies such as JIRA, Confluence, Zabbix, Grafana, Dynatrace and Splunk
Proficiency in Linux technologies
Ability to identify risk versus urgency for any given task
Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment
