The Role and Team

The KYC Team Leader remit covers all Interactive brands across the North America region.  They are responsible for implementing strategy, leading, developing and supporting the team and working very closely with key stakeholder groups (Operations, Compliance, Technology and Commercial). The ideal candidate has strong people management skills, experience leading high-performance teams and focus on developing and mentoring direct reports.

 

What You Will Do

  • Oversee and support all areas of KYC functions within North American operations
  • Monitor KYC processes to detect suspicious or unexpected activity, troubleshoot problems/issues as they may arise.
  • Constantly evaluate processes and controls to understand how they can be strengthened/steamlined/optimized with a focus on increasing KYC pass rate.
  • Work very closely with the compliance team to ensure KYC checks meet regulatory obligations.
  • Work very closely with Compliance, Payments, Fraud and Risk, AML, and Customer Support teams to always ensure alignment of processes, clear communication, and KYC regulatory compliance.
  • Provide regular updates on the performance of the KYC function and highlight any changes in KYC activity to the Payments & KYC Manager
  • Lead, mentor and develop the team.
  • Responsible for keeping required training current for all team members on the operations team.

 

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but commensurate experience will be considered.
  • 1 years + experience in managing an operations team and 2-3+ years’ experience in working within on-line KYC/ Payments/AML.
  • Proficient in Computer Skills and MS Office Tools - MS Excel.
  • Exceptional customer service skills & communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Online Sports Betting, Casino, and Poker experience.
  • Strong judgement to make rationale and balanced decisions with regards to player cases.
  • Strong leadership, including process and team development skills.
  • Highly analytical with critical thinking.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours (including weekends if required) to support the business needs.

Salary Range:  $80,000 - $90,000.00
