This role sits within our award-winning in-house Consumer Insight team, whose purpose is to generate and embed primary player research insights within Bally’s Interactive.  You will report into the Senior Consumer Insight Manager for UK and Spain)

We conduct quantitative and qualitative research across UK & Spain and occasionally support other territories as well. A large proportion of fieldwork is conducted in house, utilising our online community, alongside other methodologies. We also work in partnership with market research agencies who support us with larger scale projects and qualitative research.

The Consumer Insights team currently consists of 5 people and sits within the UK & Spain brand team, headed up by our Brand Director for UK & Spain. However you will be working with research stakeholders from across the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Run in-house quantitative research projects from start to end, across the entire project lifecycle
  • Work with third party agencies as required to lead on the delivery of larger scale quantitative work and qualitative research
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, working closely with them to embed actions and learnings into our future roadmaps

The person: 

This would be the ideal role for someone with a strong grounding in international quantitative insight gained within a consumer research agency environment who is now looking to apply those skills within an in-house insights team. 

You will be commercially grounded and understand basic ROI models to underpin your recommendations. You will be proactive and have a natural desire to influence, collaborate and build relationships across all departments.

Core competencies required:

  • Experience in conducting primary quantitative research within a research agency environment
  • An interest in working in the online gambling sector
  • Ability to assimilate and analyse data from a wide range of sources quickly and accurately
  • Numerate and statistically literate with a high level of attention to detail
  • Knowledge and appreciation of statistical techniques
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into business and research objectives
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills
  • Possess a strong commercial and strategic mindset
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to all levels including board.
  • Experience of running international online communities (Qual/quant)
  • Knowledge of survey scripting in Confirmit, or other similar quantitative software packages

Desirable competencies:

  • Knowledge/experience of qualitative research
